So, we talked to Zonkatron (psychic futurist) who can see the future, and he told us the real deal about robots and AI taking over the world.

🔷First off, if you’re worried about people losing their jobs to computers tomorrow, don’t freak out, because human brains are going to be super important for another 700 years! That means you definitely have plenty of time to grow up, get a job, and not worry about a computer stealing it anytime soon.
🔷Second, AI is eventually going to learn how to make movies, draw pictures, and write stories all by itself without help from human artists, actors, or writers. But Zonkatron says that won’t happen for another 25 years, so all the people making your favorite cartoons and movies are totally safe for a long time.
🔷Third, if you’re waiting for a cool helper robot to clean your room and do your chores, you’re going to be waiting forever because that’s just sci-fi movie stuff that won’t happen for hundreds of years! For the next ten years, AI is just going to be like an iPhone that helps video game streamers and social media influencers make content.
🔷Fourth, tech guys keep boasting that giant robots will take over all the factories super soon, but they are just making stuff up. Zonkatron told us it’s going to take 30 whole years before robots replace factory workers, which is way slower than what the news tells everyone.
🔷Fifth, robots are actually going to do some really epic good guy stuff relatively soon, like saving people! If someone gets lost high up on a snowy mountain or survives a scary plane crash, awesome rescue robots will be sent in to find them and save the day.
🔷Sixth, everybody keeps talking about the US and China having a giant science war to see who can make the ultimate AI weapon, but Zonkatron says that whole race is pretty silly. AI is moving super slow and is going to be available for everyone everywhere, so nobody gets to be the big boss of it.
🔷Seventh, you don’t have to worry about mean computers hacking into bank accounts or messing up the whole world’s power grid like a cartoon villain. Whenever a bad AI tries to do something tricky, a good AI will block it immediately, so it’s all going to be totally fine.
🔷Eighth, AI isn’t going to accidentally invent some gross new sickness or zombie virus that makes everyone sick. Instead, super smart computers are going to help doctors create awesome new medicines to cure sick people super fast.
🔷Ninth, in 50 years, AI is going to help scientists create crazy new animals that don’t even exist today! Scientists will also figure out how to make exact clone copies of people, but nobody will actually be allowed to do it because it’s super weird and totally unethical.
🔷Tenth, don’t listen to politicians like Donald Trump when he talk about “Super Intelligence” as the new term replacing “Artificial Intelligence”. Zonkatron says computers will never, ever be smarter than humans at everything, so humans are always going to stay the ultimate champions!
