Zonkatron Prediction: The world will eventually give up on the idea of needing a country and the attachment to following a specific religion. This will not happen in our lifetime, but it is plausible in 100 years or more.

This is the Future of the world in 100 years
Imagine waking up tomorrow, stretching your arms, opening your eyes, andβZAP! β‘
A giant, magical lightning bolt hits the whole planet. Nobody gets hurt, but something super weird happens. Everyone on Earth instantly forgets two big things:
1— What country they belong to.
2— What religion they belong to.
Poof! Just gone. Cleaned out like a dry-erase board after math class.
At first, people would be super confused.
President-types would look at giant maps on the wall and go, “Wait, what are those squiggly lines drawn all over the paper?” Soldiers would look at their uniforms and say, “Why am I wearing camo pants and holding a heavy flag when I could be wearing cozy sweatpants?”
Without flags, border fences, or names for different groups, nobody would know who they were supposed to be mad at.
Think about it!
Most big fights on the playground start because someone says, “Our group is cooler than your group!” or “You can’t play on this side of the grass!” But if nobody remembers what group they were in, who is there to fight?
If a soldier from one side walked up to a soldier from the other side, they wouldn’t see an “enemy.” Theyβd just see another human being who is probably hungry, tired, and wondering where the nearest pizza slice is.
Where to start?
Instead of arguing over who owns which piece of dirt, people would have to start from scratch.
“Hey, what’s your name?”
“I don’t know, but I like dogs. Do you like dogs?”
“Yeah! Let’s build a mega fort!”
What will happen?
All the tanks and fighter jets would just sit there getting dusty because nobody would have a reason to turn them on. People would stop throwing mean words and start sharing snacks. Theyβd realize that underneath all the different words, songs, and map lines, everyone pretty much wants the exact same things: a safe place to sleep, good food, funny jokes, and nice friends.
So will that magic β‘ bolt ever hit?
Yes, but it will hit inside people’s understanding before it hits as a physical tangible catastrophe, and when the catastrophe hits, people will be ready!
It might just be the best thing that ever happened to Earth. We’d finally remember that weβre all just team members on one giant spaceship flying through space together.
