According to Zonkatron: Happiness is not just about money… It’s partially about money, but not exclusively.
Money gives you comfort, which is great on its own but is only part of the equation of happiness:
Happiness = Physical + Emotional + Mental
Physical Happiness appiness requires enough comfort and therefore money, but obsessing about unlimited amounts of money isn’t gonna make you happier. Physical Happiness also encompasses health, fitness, and good habits.
Emotional Happiness is when you feel emotionally free to express yourself and enjoy the freedom from negative emotions such as anger, hatred, sadness, depression, fears and anxiety. Also, it’s about being able to feel loved and to open your heart to love others.
Mental Happiness is about having a calm mind which is functional and free from excessive thinking, boredom, or restlessness. You need to be able to have a calm enough mind to sleep peacefully.
That’s happiness in a nutshell.
Zonkatron’s book: “The Meaning of Life”, lays out several techniques of happiness on all three levels. At the end of the day, Happiness is a big part of the meaning of life. A life without happiness ceases to have any meaning.
